The Novena Prayer of St. Jude, the dear apostle was written by a Catholic priest in the 1800s. It was traditionally said for nine consecutive days, with the intention of asking for help from St. Jude Thaddeus, to bring about a positive resolution in difficult situations.
The novena consists of prayers that are said on each day, as well as prayers to be said at the end of each day.

“O St. Jude, holy Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, you are honored and petitioned by the universal Church, as the patron of desperate, hopeless and impossible cases.
